The fundraising campaign

Launched on 1 August 2013, the “Canal du Midi, avec moi il revit !” campaign to appeal for donations relies on French people’s deep affection for the canal. Find out more about the campaign and its visuals!

 

Out of the 200 million euros needed, 33,7 million were already invested between 2006 and the beginning of 2017 of which 90% by VNF, 5% by local authorities and 5% by sponsors (60 companies and 5,800 individual donors). 

 

Saving the Canal du Midi is a challenge that we must all tackle together. You can start fighting by our side today!
