The fundraising campaign

Launched on 1 August 2013, the “Canal du Midi, avec moi il revit !” campaign to appeal for donations relies on French people’s deep affection for the canal. Find out more about the campaign and its visuals!

 

Of the 200 million euros needed, 10 million were already invested by VNF between 2012 and 2013. The government will be continuing this effort by funding a third of the project, and the local and regional authorities will also be committing to a third. The final third will come from innovative funding, including sponsorship.
