Cycling treasure hunt and open-air cinema at the Kembs-Niffer lock.

Set out to discover the hidden treasures of your local area, and visit the Kembs-Niffer lock, designed by Le Corbusier!

May 14 will mark the start of the 2022 edition of the Trésors du Rhin. Run by the “Une Rivière, Un Territoire” Rhine Valley EDF agency, this digital tourism initiative, organized in partnership with VNF and the “Au fil du Rhin/Am Rhein entlang” association, offers a series of fun trails made up of challenges and enigmas, with the added bonus of finding out more about the history and nature of your region. Using your cell phone and its GPS function, track the different stages on your virtual map.

On the day of the event, Le Corbusier lock will exceptionally be open to visitors from 2 p.m. onwards. On the program: Guided tours at 2.30 p.m. – 4 p.m. – 5.30 p.m. (sign up by email to lecorbusier@vnf.fr), photo exhibition and musical entertainment at the end of the afternoon.

A charity screening of the film “The Shape of Water” (4 Oscar wins including Best Picture 2018), will bring the day’s events to a close. All proceeds from ticket sales will be used to fund the renovation of the Kembs-Niffer lock.
