The Domaine de Preissac, an exceptional wooded setting sprawling across more than 136 hectares, with its typical Toulouse red brick architecture, will be the ideal place to thank our patrons for their support in restoring the tree-lined canopy of the canal du Midi.

On the program, Léo Primard and Célia Poncelin, authors of the book Twomorrow, will tell us about their European van tour in search of solutions to climate change and will deliver an interactive presentation on ecological transition.

For the Twomorrow project, Léo and Célia interviewed 17 companies in the most CO2-emitting fields (heating, hydrogen, energy, etc.) and which, through their approaches, are reducing their impact on the planet. Based on these interviews, they have written a positive book that offers concrete solutions.

In the wooded and landscaped setting of the gardens, in the heart of the farmhouse endowed with the charm of old Toulouse brick, the ceremony for the presentation of the patrons’ trophies will take place in November. This true haven of peace will be ideal to thank them for their contribution to the project to replant the trees of the Canal du Midi.

The group I Night Duo will liven up the evening with its selection of jazzy music.

The program for this event features speeches by the leaders of the RSE Occitanie platform, Anne-Laure Marin and Madjid Bouzar, who will talk to us about ecological transition and CSR commitment.

The RSE Occitanie platform is a private and independent initiative whose mission is to “contribute to ecological transition and support the employment of committed and responsible organizations in the Occitanie Region”. Their members are trained in supporting social responsibility, sharing good CSR practices and developing employment in the Occitanie region.

Last year, the Heritage Mission, supported by the Heritage Foundation and Stéphane Bern, revealed the sums to be granted to the 101 winning sites of 2020. Among them are two VNF restoration projects, including the former freight booking office in Conflans Sainte-Honorine, Yvelines, which was granted €292,000.
